Just Earth – Cincinnati Environmental-Themed Art Competition, Art Academy of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio

The planet may well be at its tipping point, with climate change and its complicated environmental, cultural, and political effects accelerating. Just Earth – Cincinnati invites artists to seize the moment and to express, in their own voice, a personal dedication and/or delight in creation and the beauty of nature. Images of warnings for the future, celebration, images depicting regret or loss, or art depicting hope and exaltation over a healthy world and all of life’s cycles will be exhibited in this one-evening event held at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced at the event in two categories:  adult artists and high school-level artists. Refreshments will be served.

I have one piece in this exhibition, titled “Look at the Mess We’ve Made”.
