DESCRIPTION:Rooms of Grief is an exhibition exploring the emotional spaces we move through when loss reshapes our world. \n\nKennedy Heights Art Center presents Rooms of Grief\, an exhibition that invites artists to explore the spaces we inhabit when loss rearranges our world. Each “room” becomes a metaphor\, where silence\, memory\, and renewal coexist. This exhibition seeks work that interprets grief not only as sorrow\, but as transformation\, revealing the textures\, colors\, and shapes of what remains and what begins again. \nMy piece Grief – Coming out of the Dark has been chosen as part of this juried exhibition. Healing from grief is like walking out of a dark\, ominous forest into the light of love and hope. I symbolically used the butterfly because the butterfly symbolizes transformation\, hope\, resilience\, and spiritual reconnection. The woman is reaching out for hope\, following the butterflies into the light.

DESCRIPTION:One of my pieces has been selected by the jury for The Angelico Project Greater Cincinnati Annual Catholic Art Exhibition.\n\n\n\nMy polymer clay and mixed media piece is titled “Faith”.\n\n\n\nThe goal of The Angelico Project is to showcase excellent regional art that inspires the viewer to a deeper faith in God through Truth\, Goodness and Beauty.\n\n\n\nThe exhibit opening reception is Saturday\, January 30\, 2026\, from 7-9pm at St. Francis Xavier Church on Sycamore Street in Cincinnati. It’s going to be a party with viewing of inspiring art and the opportunity to meet the artists.\n\n\n\nThe exhibition runs January 30 – April 9\, 2026.
